Blue Gum Eucalpytus is fantastic for opening breathing passages and is both a mucolytic and expectorant, breaking down and removing mucus from the respiratory system. It aids lungs and has been used to relieve symptoms of malaria, bronchitis, flu and colds when inhaled or rubbed on the chest. It is antiviral and antibacterial, and is a standard in respiratory blends. Blue Gum Eucalyptus is energizing and uplifting when inhaled in a diffuser, and helps relieve stress and mental exhaustion. It also beneficial when diffused for sinus infection or sore throat. It is antiseptic and useful for skin infections. It soothes tired muscles and increases circulation, and makes an excellent addition to massage blends.
